  • Charging time: 10h
  • Charging power: 440 kW

Customer

AVA Technopark was founded in 2021 to develop a technology park in Mauritius aimed specifically at manufacturers of modern medical devices. The park comprises 54,000 m² of both office buildings and production facilities. The buildings meet high ecological standards [LEED] and are largely powered by photovoltaics.

Scope of supply and services

  • Planning, production, installation and commissioning

Purpose of the system

The production of medical devices requires a reliable, continuous supply of cold. To achieve this cost-effectively using solar energy, the required cooling is generated during the day and stored temporarily in the ice storage unit. At night, the ice storage tank is discharged and supplies production with the required process cooling.

Challenge

Short delivery time, space-saving storage in concrete tanks
